June 2011: “We have had the pleasure of using Raw Urth's talents in two settings, the first being Devil's Thumb Ranch and the second at our home nearby. Both are in Tabernash, CO. At the Ranch, Raw Urth created and installed all the iron work throughout Heck's Restaurant, including fireplace frames and screens for the three fireplaces in our hexagonal chimney. The wine storage room has a wonderful gate on it, and the railing system throughout the massive hex room is a strong feature as well. The outside railing system upon arrival at the Lodge adds the strength and character that is consistent with the National Park feeling that we desired. The ironwork is the source of many guest compliments and awe.

At our house, a four sided fireplace is adorned by four screens over six feet high and four feet wide each, and two solid iron half doors as well. The design of all the fireplace ironwork and the railing system around the dining room complement the stone architect throughout the house. Raw Urth also designed an iron gate that fits into the arch hallway that allows us to lock off part of the house if we so desire.

Other than the perfection of the work and installation, the best part of working with Raw Urth was their reliability of performance to schedule and budget. We could not give them a higher recommendation.”
